Here we have a very nice Porter and Haylett Connoisseur 29 ex-hire boat. She has recently been comprehensively refitted by the current owner, including: new batteries/stove/ fridge/mattress/ woodwork/formica /water pump /shower pump /bilge pump.
The current owner has removed the original wheelhouse bench replacing it with modern, comfortable standalone seating. If required by her new owner, it would be easy to replace this with a sofa bed for additional berths; but currently she is a very comfortable two berth boat, ideal for a couple to spend extended time aboard in space and comfort.
Being an ex-hire cruiser she has nice wide side decks giving good access and thus would be easy to crew and use. She is fitted with Webasto diesel fired heating, so comfortable for year-round cruising.
The double bedroom is at the rear of the vessel with en-suite heads and separate shower compartments. The manual toilet goes to holding tank. Moving forward is the new galley, then the roomy wheelhouse/saloon. Under the bow there is a large storage area (not standing room) for all your cruising gear.
The boat feels very spacious, light and airy and the flexibility of her sliding wheelhouse roof makes her a very attractive option for those summer days out on the river.
To be critical, the boat could benefit from a fresh coat of antifoul.
The boat has been serviced ready to enjoy the 2022 season.
She has a new Boat Safety Certificate, valid to 2025.
