VIRTUAL TOUR - VIDEO - 80 TO 100 PHOTOS - FULL SPECS CAN BE VIEWED OF THIS VESSEL!
One of the most popular of the classic trawlers, our Grand Banks 42 is in super condition with nice features for cruising or living aboard in comfort. You'll find a Webasto forced air diesel furnace aboard to heat all cabins in comfort. The galley includes a Force 10 propane stove with oven, a large stainless steel refrigerator-freezer, and there's a separate dedicated freezer unit as well. The salon is very large with windows that provide a great outlook. Private cabins include large head compartments with showers - and the master cabin includes a tiled soaking tub!

The twin Ford Lehman 120 HP diesels are housed in a spacious, clean engine room with 4' 2" of headroom and good access to all system components. Three large hatches in the salon provide for great accessibility for maintenance and major repairs. The original fuel tanks have been replaced with four aluminum tanks with sight gauges. A low-hour Northern Lights 5 KW generator is in a sound shield in this space.

This boat is priced in alignment with comparable Grand Banks 42 Classics, yet it includes a sweet boathouse - a $10,000 to $15,000 value. The boathouse has a sleeping loft, full kitchen, washer-dryer, workshop, and seating area. The location is ideal for cruising to Victoria and the Canadian Gulf Islands, the San Juan Islands, or the wild West Coast of Vancouver Island. For buyers, the boathouse goes with the boat, and a buyer can sell, sublease, or use the boathouse with moorage rights that transfer with ownership.
